Agent A of the RD paint mist flocculant is a highly dispersed, nano-intercalated modified bentonite, which is green and environmentally friendly and has excellent adsorption and detachment properties.Mechanism of action: The nano-clay modified by intercalation has a large surface area, producing high-performance adsorption, wrapping the surface of the paint mist droplets, making the paint lose its viscosity. After adding Agent B, the charges are neutralized to form a sponge-like paint slag that floats.
Main Features
● Wide adaptability, can achieve complete detachment and floating of most water-based, solvent-based paints and printing and dyeing inks:
● High hydration performance, low dosage, good water purification performance, economical and practical;
● The paint slag after treatment has good floatability and stability, and the wastewater reuse rate is high;
● Can effectively control heavy metals and COD in water;
● Natural clay, green and environmentally friendly, formaldehyde-free;
● No strong oxidizing properties, no corrosion to equipment.
Mechanism of Action
Paint mist flocculant (AB agent) is a green and environmentally friendly agent specifically designed to solve the removal of paint slag in spray booth circulating water and printing and dyeing ink wastewater: Its main function is to eliminate the viscosity of paint mist and condense it into flocs, which float on the surface of the water, making it easy for regular manual dredging or mechanical scraping, thus achieving the recycling of paint wastewater.
● Agent A: "Captures" various paint droplets entering the circulating water, wraps and penetrates the paint droplets, destroys the functional groups of the paint droplets, completely eliminates their viscosity, and drives the wrapped paint droplets to float or sink
● Agent B: Aggregates the destroyed paint droplet particles and impurities to form larger groups, making them firmly bonded and enhancing the efficiency of mechanical dehydration; neutralizes the system charge and maintains the ionic balance in the system.
Small-scale Experiment
● Use a clean mineral water bottle to take half a bottle of paint and ink wastewater to be treated:
● (Generally 0.2-1.0% of the wastewater volume) Observe whether there is a flocculation reaction after shaking and mixing;
● After a flocculation reaction (forming smaller particles), add Agent B, shake and mix to form large flocculent flocs that float (observe the speed of floc formation, water clarity, floatation rate, and tightness of the floating flocs);
● Most of the water does not need to add alkali to adjust the pH value: Solvent-based paints are best adjusted with alkali, with a pH of 8-10 being better.
On-site Use
● Turn on the circulating water pump and add the Agent A solution at the water intake of the circulating water pump;
● After 60 minutes (the mixing time can be appropriately increased or decreased according to the amount of water on site), add the Agent B solution at the water outlet of the circulating water pump;
● Good results can be achieved in about 30 minutes, and the dosage of Agent B needs to be appropriately increased or decreased according to the floating effect;
● The floating paint slag can be dredged and treated with a filter net to achieve the purpose of cleaning.
Paint mist flocculant, with good hydration performance and strong adsorption capacity, can effectively wrap the particles in wastewater, and is odorless and formaldehyde-free, and can be used as flocculant A in the purification of various paint and coating wastewaters.Product Specifications
