Product Usage Instructions
● Pre-gel method (recommended)
Inorganic gel series products can be used as pre-gel. The concentration of the pre-gel should be determined according to the stirring speed of the dispersion equipment and the required viscosity of the product to achieve the best effect, generally 2-10% (mass percentage). Weigh a certain amount of this product and slowly add it to 25-30℃ water under stirring, paying attention to avoid agglomeration. After adding the product, adjust the speed to 1200 rpm or higher and stir for 30 minutes to fully disperse the product into the water to form a uniform gel. Then let it stand for 8-24 hours until the colloid exerts its thickening effect and the system stabilizes before use.
● Dry powder method
Inorganic gel series products can be added to the required system in a dry powder state. The concentration of the prepared system should be determined according to the stirring speed of the dispersion equipment and the various indicators required by the product (viscosity, thixotropy, etc.) to achieve the best effect.
Precautions
HX inorganic gel series products can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners such as hydroxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, methyl cellulose and its modified products, alkaline solution acrylics, etc., to achieve the best rheological properties of the system. Experiments show that HX inorganic gel series products should avoid being used with polyurethane thickeners.
Packaging and Storage
Outer packaging: composite paper bag or woven bag; inner packaging: double-layer packaging with polyethylene film bag or paper bag packaging. The weight is usually 25±0.2Kg, or packaged according to customer requirements. Store in a dry and ventilated place. The shelf life is 2 years.
